The Towers of Shiva

The first meeting was held in South Reno.

Anyone who was interested in being part of the crew this year was invited to attend.

It was an informational meeting to discuss what will be needed to bring the flame effects & fire performance stage back to the playa for its final, fabulous, firey farewell to all of you.

On Friday, 9/4 at 9pm, the ramps will be raised and it will ~BURN~ in all its glory.

We encourage all performers, artists, old friends and new, to come visit, revisit, renew, rejuvenate and celebrate its Evolution with us.

We were sure busy early this week and last weekend!

The good news is that we got the grant in for Burning Man 2009!

Many aspects of the proposal will be posted on this website for you to see, stay tuned!

It’s been submitted, and we have our fingers crossed for success with funding!

You’ve seen it. It’s big. It’s bright. It’s loud, and it’s HOT. It was built by fire performers, for fire performers. It began as the dream of one man and ended up touching the lives of many. It has evolved, and now, it’s time has come.

In the third and final incarnation of The Towers of Shiva, for the final time we will bring the performance piece part of the Shiva Vista platform to Burning Man 2009. We encourage all performers and artists to come, to revisit past glory, create new glory, remember, revisit, renew, rejuvenate, celebrate. Then, we will burn it…
